Production and Quality Manager

Job Description
Eton is seeking to hire a Production and Quality Manager to join our team in Gånghester, Sweden.

As Production and Quality Manager you are responsible that Eton have the right suppliers and capacities to execute on the business plan. You are responsible for the production of shirts and responsible that all Eton products fulfill Eton quality requirements.

At Eton we have close collaborations with our suppliers, primarily located in Europe. We have close partnerships with a few carefully selected sewing factories in Europe, having dedicated production lines. We are providing the factories with all material needed such as fabrics and trimmings (eg. buttons, interlining, thread etc) We also have long term relationships with a few accessories’ suppliers. During the last years Eton has expanded its assortment offer and are also sourcing ready made garments.

Responsibilities
As Production & Quality manager you are responsible for the production and quality team, having the overall responsibility for the sewing production units and quality assurance.

  • You lead a team of 5 persons and build a best-in-class Production & Quality team through a coaching- and developing leadership.
  • With a customer centric mindset, from a production and quality perspective you drive your team to continuously develop, innovate and evaluate the products, production and quality in every aspect such as technology, efficiency and quality.
  • You are the catalyst and driver of the teams sustainability transformation and part of the sustainability steering group.
  • You are responsible that Eton collaborate with the right sewing production units to match the needs of our business plan and assortment strategy.
  • You source and onboard new sewing production units and negotiate agreements and prices.
  • You are responsible for the sewing production units, for their performance (eg. quality and efficiency), for evaluation, development, and strategic collaboration.
  • You work closely with the planning team and assortment team to secure that Eton have the right supplier capabilities and capacity, both short term and long term, and in line with costs.
  • You are responsible for all Eton suppliers (eg. production units, weavers, accessories suppliers, trimmings suppliers etc) have a signed agreement and being compliant, audited and approved prior to buying.
  • You are overall responsible to secure that all products are compliant on the markets they are delivered to, e.g., legal requirements, certificates and labelling, product safety, chemical requirements etc.
  • You are overall responsible that all products comply to Eton’s defined quality standards. You are also responsible for KPIs on claims, to follow up and take actions.
  • You are responsible for cost of sewing as part of the total COGS (cost of goods).
  • You are responsible for budget and processes related to the role/department.

You report to the Supply Chain Director and are part of the Supply Chain Management team. The position is a full-time employment.

Experience and Qualifications
Eton is looking for a talented relationship builder with strong negotiation skills to lead the quality team and develop Eton’s supplier base to support the next years growth. Therefore, we expect you to have the following experience and qualifications:

Frontend Developer

  • Primarily you will work with the development of our digital solutions, which are directed at both B2C and B2B customers all over the world. Our frontend-solutions are mainly built with Next.js/React, e.g., our e-commerce site (www.etonhirts.com).
  • You will work in an agile team with both frontend and backend developers where you are expected to both being curious to learn new things, but also share experiences to further strengthen our team.

Planner

Job Description
Eton is seeking to hire a “Planner” to join our team in Gånghester, Sweden.
As a Planner you are part of the planning team. You work with administration of material needed for our production facilities in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible to supply our sewing factories with all trimmings (e.g. buttons, labels, thread) in time for production.
  • You check the production needs and call off the trimmings from our suppliers.
  • You work with administration of trimmings and fabrics that are shipped to the factories, such as handling invoices and stock move transactions in our ERP system.
  • You are responsible for the stock accuracy of trimmings and fabrics. You update stock levels and evaluate deviations.
  • You analyze and update target stock levels of material at our facilities in relation to consumption and lead time to optimize availability.
  • You actively assist other Planners in various planning related tasks such as order handling, administration prior to picking/shipping etc.
  • You strive to make your work cost efficient by balancing call off quantities and transport costs.

Product Assistant

Job Description
Eton is seeking to hire a “Product Assistant” to join our team in Gånghester, Sweden.

As a Product Assistant you are a part of the Assortment Team, reporting to the Assortment Director. Your assignment is to actively assist the Head of Assortment in the collection work to drive sales and profit, through an efficient assortment in line with brand platform, and securing the quality
of product information in our systems.

The position is a temporary full-time employment until 31st August 2023, due to a parental leave, with starting date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities & Main Tasks

  • You are responsible to drive and develop the process and operational work regarding product information in our systems.
  • You administrate and secure the quality of product information connected to our products in the systems.
  • You assist Head of Assortment in the cross functional work to ensure right product information for all stakeholders – supply chain, sales- and marketing channels.

Digital Wholesale / Concession Coordinator

Job description:
To grow the Eton Digital Wholesale Online business on all third-party channels including but not limited to concessions and major online retailers in Europe and UK.

  • Create the buy plan in partnership with the relevant cross-functional teams and manage assortment for Eton concessions

Supply Chain Controller

Eton is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Controller to continue strengthen our Supply Chain team.

You will be a key player in securing an effective and smooth supply chain by developing and improving analysis and processes within production/quality, planning, and warehouse/distribution departments. You will ensure inventory optimization, stock management, product lifecycle management, delivery precision, production efficiency, and more. You will be a cornerstone in our Supply Chain team and report directly to Supply Chain Director Frida Jungmalm. You will also be well integrated with our BIA (Business Insights & Analytics) function and have a dotted line to Head of BIA Viktor Cedersjö.
